A Walk With Adobe Titans
by Kinan Faham on Jun.29, 2010, under Parks, meetup, photography
Adobe started a new meetup group in the Big Apple and they organized a photo walk last Saturday with Tom Hogarty and Bryan O’Neil Hughes. We wondered around 22nd Street dropping by the High line park before heading back to Fotocare to listen to what magical things Adobe CS5 and Lighroom 3 had to offer. I have to say they sound promising.

This is a video of the US Navy Blue Angels as they put together a spectacular show on Memorial Day weekend at Jones Beach State Park in Long Island. In addition, a few frames follow from the beach and one that demonstrates a failed attempt to capture the full sun in what is known as Manhattanhenge (went there on Monday May 31st 2010)….

Tears From The Sky

A hike up the Shawangunks in New Paltz, NY last weekend with Hartford Area Hiking meetup group. What started as a pouring rainy day turned sunny and beautiful as we climbed up along the trails. I chose the name for this post after seeing a few drops under the peak in which it appeared that the sky was crying. It was mother’s day and it seemed that nobody remembered to visit Mother Nature!

At 11:00 AM EST Sunday, shutterbugs around the globe were asked to capture their moment and share it with NYTimes photo blog where the editors wanted to build a collage of photos from different parts of the world.
I ended up submitting the picture appearing first in this post.
