Mistified

This is a collection that was taken around 6 AM last Saturday in Essex, CT just before heading to the city for a day full of photo-shooting. The sun had just woken up and was covered by a thick cover of mist and fog adding a mystifying layer to the scene. Connecticut river is at the end of the road on which I stood but is covered as well.

Solstice Week

The best time of the year is now: When light defeats darkness and days become more prominent than nights. This collection was taken in two places: Coney Island, Brooklyn NY during their annual and famous Mermaid Parade and in Old Saybrook, Connecticut.

The Clouds Summit(s)

Another week & another attempt at capturing the mundane & then trying to make it look more intriguing. The majority of the pictures in this album took place either as I was heading to work in the early AM or late in the day as I rushed out unleashing the shutter as fleets of clouds had their daily summit(s).

Luney, April edition

It is April’s full moon. It awakens the luney lying underneath one’s skin and unleashes the shutterbug.

The photos in this post were taken in Old Saybrook’s causeway(Bridge street) a little before midnight yesterday. You’ll also see a few pictures taken in the AM hours around Ferry Road while some maintenance crews were cleaning up the docks of “Between the Bridges” marina.

American Beauty: Smyth Sanctuary, Connecticut River

I first heard about this sanctuary from a co-worker. Connecticut river has a bunch of places like this one. They are not as visible to the clueless eye as they’re intertwined with the private properties surrounding them.
