A walking tour around San Diego’s submarine museum looking at the different ships and the Russian Submarine moored there.
Among the interesting ships is the HMS Surprise where Anthony Hopkins et al. made the famous movie, Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World & of course B-39 stands as a reminder of the cold war era.
This was a day at Coronado Island’s beach which is just off the shore of San Diego and can be reached via the famous and scenery San Diego-Coronado Bridge. It is one of the hottest vacation spots.
This was on December 24th after a hike with a meetup group in Santee, CA.
I stopped by San Diego’s Shoreline park and tried to capture some of the wandering seagulls around trying my best to capture them in motion.
After Crestridge Ecological Reserve hike with San Diego’s hiking meetup group, I thought I’d give Torrey Pines state park a shot!
It was a little cloudy but nothing could deter me from filming or shooting the beauty of San Diego’s beach!
Another (shorter) hike with Take A Hike! meetup group that took place on the 27th of December 2009. The purpose was to discover this remote park located in El Cajon, CA.
Those who intended to burn Christmas calories probably gained more as we headed to Tylers of Texas BBQ house for lunch afterwards!
This is a hike with a meetup group in Santee, CA which is a few miles drive from San Diego.
We started at Big Rock park, went up Cowles then Pyle’s peaks before heading back to Big Rock. As you’d expect, Southern Californian weather is ideal for such ventures.
