The Wanderer in Alphabet City

This was just another walk in the late PM last Sunday after seeing BroadCloth in the Stone.

I like the way trees look in the busy skyline of Manhattan. Quite different from that of New England!

West Side Story, a kick off to a thousand miles Journey

Even though I have been living in the North East for almost four years now, I still have thousands of places to visit and see that are reachable by transportation means. This was a walk last Sunday that I started in Harlem’s 125th street subway station and then passed through New York’s Riverside state park all the way to George Washington Bridge.

The most fascinating thing I saw there was the lighthouse known as “The Little Red Lighthouse “!

After a few hours walking in the park, I took the train down to Alphabet City for my Cello Teacher’s performance in the Stone on Avenue C and E 2nd street. This will follow in the next post!
